Chapter 565 Horses-2
Chapter 565 Horses-2
She lunged toward him throwing her front hoofs trying to hit him. Samuel dodged her every attack only calmly looking at her face every time he switched position.
" You know you can\'t hit me right?"
*neigh* *neigh* *neigh* Sjors looked like she understood his provations and tried even harder but no matter from which angle she kicked and stomped, Samuel would get away in nick of time.
" I know you are mad but it this how you treat me? It\'s been months since I last saw you. You have grown more beautiful."
Like she cared, Sjors was relentless. Seeing no other choice, Samuel closed in the distance and stood right beside the huge animal. Nelson also rushed seeing Samuel in danger but what happened next shocked him.
Samuel simply jumped on her, one had to understand that Sjors didn\'t like anyone riding her. Nelson couldn\'t even put any lease on her much less a saddle. He had heard about the Friesian breed being sensitive and gentle but they were also very loyal, without their consent there was no way of anyone getting on top of them.
One also had to consider the sheer size of the horse. If anyone wanted to ride it without saddle, they had to jump at least six feet and that\'s vertically to even get a chance to hop on top. But seeing Samuel do it so effortlessly, Nelson couldn\'t find words to describe such a scene.
Meanwhile, Samuel was hugging Sjors\' neck trying to calm her down. He knew why she was mad as soon as he saw her. It was because he didn\'t even visit her since she came here. He was the one that brought her here but she felt left out because in her mind, he was the only one that treated her gently.
Even in flight, when he was flying her over. He would visit her often to calm her down. Not seeing him for a long time, made her feel aggressive but feeling his touch again, she soon began to calm down. Samuel also felt it, it was strange because she felt more \'connected\' to him somehow, it\'s like she could tell he was sorry.
He jumped down and walked in front of her, rubbing her forehead he said a few words of apology from his heart. Samuel didn\'t know about other horses but he only bought Sjors with the intention of her being his horse which was one of the reason she was the oldest one among the horses.
" Are we good?" He asked, she leaned down to give him few kisses making him giggle.
" Alright, alright, big girl. Let me introduce you to some people." He patted her forehead few more times and started walking toward Elise who was staring at the big horse. To say she was bewitched was an understatement, she had even more respect toward Samuel who was able to dance with the horses effortlessly!
Seeing the situation calm down, Nelson too took a sigh of relief. He saw Samuel walking toward him with Sjors in tow and wondered how did he manage to tame her?
Other horses also came running finally recognizing Samuel. Before he could reach Elise, he was surrounded by little ponies that doubled in size in few months. King was the first to greet him for some reason after which Moxie and Phoenix came running tying to get headpats from him.
Seeing him surrounded by horses, Nelson too took Elise and the baby deer to get more closer. Elise and deer quickly made their way under his feet where they felt most comfortable and watched Samuel play with everyone.
" Elise do you want a ride? They seem to be curious about you."
" Un!" She nodded her head furiously.
" Which one you like most?"
"Hmmm...that one!" She pointed at the biggest one. Samuel was surprised by her choice, if she prefered smaller one it might be fine but with Sjors temperament Samuel felt a little conflicted.
It\'s like Sjors sensed his worries and nudged his head seemingly saying that she didn\'t mind it.
" Alright, Nelson take care of other kids. I will take a lap with Elise."
" But...it\'s dangerous without a harness. If you wait a few moment, I can ask someone to bring you one."
" It\'s alright, we wouldn\'t run fast right Sjors?"
*neigh* She answered with a rejuvenated spirit. Nelson didn\'t know if that was a positive response or an opportunity for Sjors to run wild! She liked to do it quite often.
" Right, before I leave everyone this is....Fiona, she will be living with us from now on so don\'t be too hard on her." He turned toward other children and for the first time introduced the baby deer by giving her a name on spot.
Despite his reservation, he didn\'t know what else to do with her. For the time being, she could run around the estate and stay in the ranch at night. He would think of something when she grows up a little.
" Nelson assign someone to take care of her. She is quite young so you need to prepare special items for her."
"Beeht." the baby deer made a sound as he finished speaking. She didn\'t like the idea of staying away from Samuel and he could feel it. He kneeled down and said," You can\'t stay with us at night. These people will look after you and every morning, you can come visit us alright? It\'s not that far from here."
He didn\'t know if she understood it or not but that\'s how it had to be. With him gone most of the time, it was not feasible for him to take care of any animal. He picked up Elise and put her on Sjors and hopped back on top of her.
Sjors started jogging slowly as Samuel held Elise close to his chest. Fiona and other children also started trudging along them. Nelson was left watching as every horse in the ranch left!
" Waah! hahaha." Elise giggled uncontrollably as she jumped up and down on top of Sjors. Samuel smiled and said," Where do you want to go?"
" I want to see Aunt Laura!"
" Aunt Laura?" Samuel was baffled hearing her saying his mother aunt? Did she talk her into it? From what angle did she look like an aunt!?
" Un! She told me come visit her early! But I forgot my bag!" She realized that she needed to go back first.
" It\'s fine, we will get you another one! Let\'s go see \'aunt\' Laura first." Sensing Samuel\'s command, Sjors started galloping. With proper lower body strength, no one would be able to last few second on top of her but it was child\'s play for Samuel.
With a horde of horses he started making his way toward the main mansion.
