Chapter 26 - Can Even Bet On Primordial Equipment?
“Wow! Big brother, you’re the best!” The little girl’s face lit up with joy. She had long yearned to become a Level-four genetic warrior.
At that moment, with no one else around, Chuchu quickly swallowed the drug.
Ten minutes later, a smile appeared on her face.
“Little girl, how do you feel?” Qin Feng asked.
“I feel much stronger! I think I can probably kill a Level-four ferocious beast with just one punch,” she exclaimed excitedly. Chuchu was thrilled—she had finally become a Level-four genetic warrior, and not just an ordinary one at that.
Qin Feng smiled with satisfaction.
“Brother, let’s go to the warrior building; I want to test my combat strength,” Chuchu said, full of anticipation.
Qin Feng smiled and said, “Don’t rush! There’s a large Primordial shop nearby. Let’s take a look first, then go for the test.”
“Okay!” Chuchu nodded obediently.
With that, the two of them left happily.
Currently, Qin Feng had 200 million Tong coins on him, and he wanted to find a Primordial-level piece of equipment to further enhance his strength.
About ten minutes later, Qin Feng and Chuchu arrived at the most luxurious area of Yunyang City.
Looking at the grand and imposing Primordial mall ahead, the little girl was astonished. The glass windows of the mall were made of crystal, with a layer of nanomaterials applied on top to resist dust and water.
The steps leading up to the mall were paved with rare white jade. Two rows of security guards, all Level-four genetic warriors, stood at the entrance, exuding an aura of opulence.
The mall, called “Yuanqi Pavilion,” was the only Primordial mall in Yunyang City. Rumor had it that the power backing Yuanqi Pavilion was immense, even the city lord was wary of them.
Most of the people who came and went from here were high-ranking element masters, with a few wealthy strength experts as well.
In short, those who could enter and exit this place were either rich or noble. Genetic warriors didn’t qualify to enter, nor would they even come here, since Primordial weapons required elemental power to activate.
Genetic warriors couldn’t use them at all. Only strength experts and element masters could wield Primordial weapons.
“Little girl, let’s go in!” Qin Feng said.
“Mm!”
The two siblings entered Yuanqi Pavilion.
As soon as Qin Feng stepped into the lobby, a stir erupted.
“Wow! Look!”
“A top-tier handsome guy just walked in!”
Several female sales attendants were captivated by Qin Feng’s appearance. To them, he seemed to radiate light, overshadowing everything around him. It was as if only Qin Feng existed in the world.
Ever since Qin Feng started cultivating three different systems, his charm radiated from within, making people feel as though they were basking in the warmth of spring. Just a single glance at him could bring a sense of peace.
After their initial astonishment, one of the female attendants eagerly approached him, much to the regret of the others, who were disappointed that such a prime catch had been taken so quickly.
“Sir, is there anything I can assist you with?” the female attendant asked respectfully.
She dared not show the slightest negligence. Everyone who came here was a big deal.
“I’m looking to buy a Primordial weapon. Can you introduce me to some options?” Qin Feng asked casually.
Upon hearing this, the saleswoman’s eyes sparkled. Many element masters came to browse but rarely purchased anything on the spot, as Primordial weapons were very expensive.
Even a one-star element master could hardly afford one. It seemed this young man was the scion of a wealthy family and gifted in cultivation to boot.
Such a high-class young man is a real prize!
The saleswoman’s excitement grew, and she became even more enthusiastic.
“Sir, our Yuanqi Pavilion has everything from first to seventh floors, selling low-grade Primordial weapons of various elements: fire, water, wind, thunder, you name it. Some of our items have an amplitude of up to 100%!”
“The first floor specializes in offensive weapons, the second in defensive gear, the third in support items, and the fourth in special gear.”
“The fifth to seventh floors sell Primordial weapons for special elements like magnetic force and shadow,” she explained passionately.
Qin Feng nodded slightly.
Then he asked, “What about the eighth and ninth floors? Do they sell mid-grade Primordial weapons?”
The saleswoman smiled and said, “Sir, mid-grade Primordial weapons are extremely rare treasures and are generally not displayed for sale. You’d usually only find them at auctions.”
Yunyang Base City was considered a mid-sized base city with a population of only 30 million, so mid-grade Primordial weapons were exceedingly rare.
“Oh, so what do you have on the eighth and ninth floors?” Qin Feng asked curiously. Yuanqi Pavilion had nine floors in total.
“Sir, the ninth floor is where our honored element masters train. Outsiders are not allowed entry,” she explained.
Qin Feng nodded slightly; he had heard before that Yuanqi Pavilion was guarded by a five-star element master to prevent unruly element masters from causing trouble. That five-star element master was likely stationed on the ninth floor.
The saleswoman continued, “As for the eighth floor, that’s where people gamble on Primordial weapons.”
“Gamble on Primordial weapons? How does that work?” Qin Feng’s interest was piqued.
The saleswoman smiled and said, “Sir, if you’re interested, I can take you up there to have a look. You’ll understand once you see it.”
“All right!”
“Sir, please follow me,” she said warmly, leading the way.
According to the store’s commission structure, as long as the customer she attended made any purchase, no matter what they bought, she would get a cut.
Soon, they took the elevator to the eighth floor.
